A Wesco Bakery Associate is someone who desires to work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment, while exhibiting multitasking and decision making abilities. A Bakery Associate will take pride in being able to stay on task with minimal supervision, produce high quality products by following recipes, while being efficient to produce the needed quantities in a timely manner.

Requirements

· Must be at least 18 years of age

· Have a high school diploma or GED

· Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

· Must have good manual dexterity

· Must be able to work in extreme cold and heat

· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

· Must be able to tolerate repetitive tasks

· Have reliable transportation

· Be able to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed

Summary

A Wesco Bakery Associate has many job duties including but not limited to the following:

· Perform all tasks with the safety of Associates and customers in mind

· Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines

· Ability to learn and adhere to proper specifications for all bakery products

· Ability to learn

o Scaling and mixing of ingredients

o Formula calculation and adjustments

o Dough mixing

o Proofing

o Yeast and cake donut frying

o Filling/finishing

o Baking

· Complete all housekeeping functions

o Cleaning

o Dusting

o Sweeping

o Mopping

· Represent the Wesco Brand to customers and Associates by embracing Wesco's Unifying Principles and Mission Statement
