Week of Festive Family Fun at Oliver Art Center

The Oliver Art Center is planning a slate of fun and festive holiday events for the week of December 8 – 14th. Activities include holiday-themed art classes and workshops, crafting, cooking, music and more. Classes offered during the week include a basket weave ornament class, fused glass ornament and night light and a porcelain ornament class. Several free demos, classes and activities will also be provided including a Holiday Crafting Drop-In Day for families. On Friday, December 13th acclaimed pianist and vocalist Kit Holmes will present an evening of classic and popular contemporary holiday favorites in the Beck Gallery. The public is invited to sing along with Kit's masterful mix of pop, jazz, blues, folk (and a few originals, too!) at the Steinway baby grand. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children ages 12 and under and can be purchased at OliverArt.org.
