This program celebrates lyricism, color, and imagination through three beloved works inspired by song, landscape, and expressive freedom. Clara Schumann’s intimate Romances open the evening with warmth and elegance, followed by the expansive pastoral sweep of Vaughan Williams’ early piano quintet. After intermission, Schubert’s iconic “Trout” Quintet brings buoyant rhythms, radiant melodies, and virtuosic interplay–an ideal soundtrack for a Northern Michigan summer. Thanks to donors and a supporting grant from Michigan Humanities, OAC is able to present this world-class ensemble concert at a ticket price of only $10.00 Doors open at 6:00.
