United Way - Day of Caring
In a year that has brought us the unexpected, let’s show up for our community in an unexpected way! The United Way of Northwest Michigan is rounding up projects and volunteers for our 2020 Day of Caring, the single biggest day of volunteering in our community.
In light of current safety precautions, projects are outdoors only and can accommodate teams of 9 volunteers or fewer. Appropriate masking and social distancing will be enforced throughout the day, while focusing on fun and service.
You and your friends can be the hand-raisers, the game-changers, the problem solvers that help our community thrive, especially during times like these. Day of Caring needs are rolling into our Get Connected volunteer portal, where you can browse by day, by need, or even by interest. Once you have found the perfect project, you can sign up right online.
Let's say you have found the perfect project for you and your group - what next? You can sign up as a team! The beauty of team sign-ups is you can hold your place for the project you want to do, even if you are unsure how many teammates you will have participate. When you have assembled some or all of your teammates, sign on up: here (instructions for signing up as a team can be found here).
United Way of Northwest Michigan is celebrating you, your hard work, and your dedication to this community.
