Snowshoe Tour at Michigan Legacy Art Park
Join Michigan Legacy Art Park on Saturday, Feb. 19th at 10am for an invigorating art tour! Enjoy an educational snowshoe with Executive Director Angie Quinn as she leads a tour on wooded, snowy trails to view the sculptures in the Art Park. All levels of snowshoeing experience are welcome. Located on a 30-acre forest preserve in Benzie County on the grounds of Crystal Mountain Resort, Michigan Legacy Art Park connects visitors to the surrounding natural world through the lens of contemporary art. The Art Park embraces the beauty of the winter season, remaining open to the public every day of the year. The tour lasts 1.5 hours and is free with $5 adult admission (complimentary for youth). Cash or credit card accepted. Additional tour date being planned as well on Saturday, March 12th, both at 10am. To attend the tour, meet at the Art Park trailhead at 10am. Be prepared for current weather conditions. Snowshoes are not provided but snowshoe rentals may be available from Crystal Mountain: (231) 378-2000 ext. 7000. If there is no snow, it will be a hike.
