Description
First Emperor of China
Presented by Maureen Esther, HistoryTeller
Ch’in Shi Huang Ti, the First Emperor of China is known best by the large terra cotta army buried to protect his mausoleum in Xian. Discovered in 1974, it is far from excavated. He is known for his massive building projects, such as the Great Wall and the Grand Chinese Canal.
Maureen, a HistoryTeller for 27 years in the Detroit area, enjoys bringing her love of Art and History to the Benzonia Public Library.
