Description
Our planetarium is an inflatable dome set up in the Earth & Space Lab at COGNiTiON for a variety of immersive experiences in-the-round!
- When: Starts the 2nd Sunday of each month and special pop-ups.
- Where: Earth & Science Lab - North Room
- How: There is limited seating for each show. We request that at least one adult accompany children under 9yrs old.
COSMIC CADETS / VENUS ( recommended for K - 1 grade) - (20 Minutes) Let's go to Venus, our 2nd planet...learn and explore together in an interactive trip to the planets. 11am - Wed/Thur/Fri & 3pm - Wed/Thur/Fri/Sat/Sun
'THE MAGIC GLOBE' 360degree Movie ( recommended for K - 6 grade) - (40 Minutes) Engaging tale with 360 degree visuals, teaching seasons & night/day for kids. 1pm - Wed/Thur/Fri/Sat/Sun & 5:30pm - Fri
SPACE EXPLORERS / SATELLITES ( recommended for K - 3 grade) - (25 Minutes) What are those fast moving lights in the night sky, and what if we could see them up close?. 2pm - Wed/Thur/Fri/Sat/Sun
LIVE! SKY TOUR / THE GEMINI PARTY ( recommended for K - 8 grade) - (25 Minutes) Learn how to spot Gemini, Mars, Venus, and the moon partying in an interactive night sky tour. 4pm - Sun & 4:30pm - Wed/Thur/Fri & 3pm - Wed/Thur/Fri/Sat/Sun
Tickets are available as an add-on to daily admission / membership, or on 8 Show or 16 Show punchcards.
