Betsie Valley Trail Open House

Description

The Friends of the Betsie Valley Trail will be hosting an Open House to kick off the 2023 season at the Beulah Trailhead and Visitor Center on Saturday, May 20th from 11 AM to 1 PM.

Representatives from the Friends will be there to provide information about the Trail and to offer Friends merchandise
including t-shirts, caps, and bike bells. Free snacks will also be available.

At 11:30, Bike expert and Friends Board Member, Chris Remy, will be giving a talk about how to use the fix-it stations. There are fix-it stations at both the Beulah and Elberta trailheads and they can come in very handy for basic bike repairs. The talk will include a ‘tour’ of the fix-it station, explaining each of the tools and what they can be used for.  Attendees will also see a demonstration on how to use the station to fix a flat and will learn some valuable tips on various tune-ups they can do themselves.

The Open House is free and open to the public. No advanced registration is needed.
