Benzonia Area Community Emergency Fund concert Performers: The Nephews with Marlene Wood Where: Mills Community House, Upper Level When: Sunday, December 15th from 4:00-6:00 ??Bio: The Nephews play mostly old songs, in the old time country and country Blues traditions. Byron and Tim Joseph, double first cousins (their mothers were sisters and their fathers were brothers) have been playing together in public performances for over sixty years. They share a repertoire of hundreds of songs which they harmonize and accompany on guitar, banjo and harmonica. They are joined by Marlene Wood, singer and bassist, whom they affectionately call “Denise”. To paraphrase Abraham Lincoln, “For folks who like this sort of music, this is just the sort of music they will like”.
