Join the Benzie Area Historical Society on Thursday, October 8th at the Mills Community House for its latest Benzonia Academy Lecture series, as Executive Director of the Oliver Art Center Tamara Hoffbauer shares the 78-year history and mission of the Oliver Art Center, along with current and future plans for the organization.
**Please note a change in the start time. Starting with our October Academy Lecture and through to our April Academy Lecture, the start time will be 4 pm.**
Presenter: Tamara Hoffbauer
Tamara has served as Executive Director of the Oliver Art Center since November 2022, after relocating from Indianapolis, Indiana. Before moving to Frankfort, Tamara ran a marketing company with her partner, Jeff Dean, and served on nonprofit boards focused on conservation and community development. Tamara has a BFA in Design from DePaul University, Chicago.
This presentation is part of the Benzie Area Historical Society’s Benzonia Academy Lecture Series, held on the second Thursday of each month. Admission is by donation; a $5 donation is recommended.
