DESCRIPTION:Benzonia Academy Lecture Series: Anishinaabek: A Brief History\n\n\n\nThis month's lecture will be presented by Jonnie J. Sam II\, Little River Band of Ottawa Indians.  Sam will share a brief history and a cultural discussion on the Anishinaabek\, which include the Odawa\, Saulteaux Ojibwe\, Potawatomi\, Oji-Creek and Algonquin peoples.  He will discuss cultural commonalities and slight differences that exist among the tribes.\n\nSam  has served  in a variety of posts and roles including as a post re-affirmation Court Judge\, Ogema.
