Description
Pete's Woods in Arcadia Dunes Preserve is THE place to see spring wildflowers! This hike is sponsored by the Benzie County Audubon Society and will be lead by GTRLC volunteer and Benzie Audubon member Paula Dreeszen. Hikers will walk 1.5 miles through Pete's Woods, a beautiful and somewhat lesser known part of Arcadia Dunes that has notoriously beautiful spring wildflower displays. Paula will point out spring ephemeral wild flowers along the way including those in bloom, those whose time has passed and those who have yet to peek out!
